Four Data Privacy Software Licensees Signed by Direct Computer Resources

(Nov 13, 2007)-- Direct Computer Resources, provider of Data Privacy software, announced today that its DataVantage Global and DataVantage for DB2 software products have been licensed to provide data masking and data obfuscation capabilities to four new software licensees. New customers include the U.S. Coast Guard Finance Center, Employers Insurance, Bank of Scotland's Intelligent Finance subsidiary, and Auto Club Insurance Association and its affiliate, The Auto Club Group (AAA Michigan). Michigan. DCR software helps companies meet regulatory requirements including SOX, PCI, HIPAA and Gramm-Leach-Bliley, among others.

"With the proliferation of data breaches being reported in the media, companies are learning significant lessons about the risks and subsequent costs of using and sharing data that includes personally identifiable information," said Bill Vitiello, DCR's EVP of Sales and Marketing. "Using innovative Multi-Level Security features, DataVantage Global protects production data from being compromised by unauthorized entities."

"Through several proof of concept proposals, it became immediately clear that DataVantage Global included the technology innovations we needed in a cost-effective package," said Daniel Kensinger, contractor for the U.S. Coast Guard. "DataVantage Global matches our interest in keeping personnel data private within our Oracle financial suite."

For Employers Insurance, DCR's long-term experience played a role in the selection. Joe Fitts, Information Technology Manager for Employers Insurance added that, "We appreciate the many years of application testing and development expertise DCR has now applied to robust data obfuscation features."
