NCI Awarded $4.9 Million One Year Task Order to Provide COOP Capability for the Air National Guard

(Oct. 10, 2006)--NCI, provider of IT solutions to U.S. federal government agencies, said that its wholly-owned subsidiary, NCI Information Systems, was awarded a one year task order with a value of $4.9 million.

This new project will provide the Air National Guard a comprehensive Continuity of Operations (COOP) capability to protect their business-critical data from disasters. NCI will design, develop, migrate, and implement the necessary equipment and software to provide data and applications continuity accessible from Air National Guard headquarter facilities, other COOP locations, and various remote sites. The award was made through the Air National Guard using the U.S. Air Force's Network Centric Solutions (NETCENTS) contract.

"NCI recognizes the importance of this task order as part of a larger Air National Guard effort to meet its infrastructure mandates and to protect its business environment. NCI is pleased to continue its partnership with the Air National Guard to achieve superior mission accomplishment," said Terry Glasgow, Chief Operating Officer.
